I crafted this gourd smudging bowl with a woven pine needle rim, and gemstone focals consisting of amazonite, chiastolite andalusite, and baltic amber. The feather fan was crafted to match, but was unfortunatly destroyed in a tornado which took our home in April of 2006.

The bowl is for sale, please inquire. :)

Faery Faith Gourd Bowl by *ChaeyAhne is probably one of the most unique bowl designs I've ever seen. The basket-weaved opening, decorative stones and pinecone pieces combined with the clay-like bowl creates a very traditional yet contemporary piece of artwork. Just one piece in a truly awesome, original gallery. ( Suggested by ~tarynheart and Featured by `dedredhed )

I love the gourd. I have tried to use leather but it never looks this nice.

Just letting you know I've featured this fabulous work in a module on my page (my journal is busy with a contest at the moment, so I couldn't add it there).

If you'd like to see it, just click on my avatar and scroll down my page to the box that says "NOW FEATURING".

Great work!

Very native and Lovely! My mom made one as
well with pine needles laced into the rim, you
don't see that to often! The beads and fan also
was a very nice touch to it! Your works are AMAZING! :D
